Chrome keeps asking for MIDI permission

If you're seeing MIDI access popups on random websites, here's how to lock it down so only MIA gets permission. This takes about 30 seconds.

Step 1 — Open MIDI Settings
Copy and paste this into your Chrome address bar:
chrome://settings/content/midiDevices

You'll find this under Privacy and Security → Site Settings → MIDI devices.
Chrome MIDI settings - block by default and clean up
Step 2 — Block & Clean Up
Select "Don't allow sites to control and reprogram your MIDI devices" to block MIDI by default. Then delete all sites from both the "Not allowed" and "Allowed" lists using the trash icons. Sites like Google, Sweetwater, TikTok — none of them need MIDI access.
Chrome MIDI settings - only MIA allowed
Step 3 — Allow Only MIA
Visit MIA and grant permission one last time. Click the MIA logo to power on, press IN — when Chrome asks for MIDI permission, click Allow. MIA will be the only site in the Allowed list. No other website will bother you with MIDI popups again.

That's it! After this, only MIA has MIDI access. Every other site is blocked by default — no more random popups.
